Model: Mona deLuxe, MUA/Hair: Meridith Lorde
is the owner/founder of Retro Photo, her niche studio emphasizing boudoir, glamour, beauty, pinup, vintage, burlesque, and band photography. Her specialties include the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s style beauty portraits, as well as contemporary fashion and portraiture.
For bands, she is known for her work in the psychobilly community, a fusion of punk and roots-based rockabilly music. She is also making a name for herself in the retro-style photography community, and is now part of the prestigious "Pinup Syndicate," a group of select photographers who contribute to Retro Lovely magazine.
For lovers of horror and metal, she also founded Mayhem Media, LLC, to promote her interested in horror film and imagery, as well as the darker side of music. She has done promo photos for the 8 Films to Die For series' "The Graves," and worked on the Detroit-based horror anthology series, "The Midnight Hour." Mayhem Media will also be a music and event promotions division, debuting this October.
